Last week I had the pleasure of making over my lovely Sister in Law Sophie. I also had the fortune of my brother being present to set up a time-lapse camera, thanks Nick! On the off chance that you’re not a lady wanting a makeover and you are indeed interesting in commissioning a corporate video (maybe you do both, that could happen..) check out – http://www.feral-films.com/

Anyway, we wanted to do a ‘glam’ look (glam is truly a terrible word) that was dramatic enough for a night out but not something that screamed ‘I’m wearing makeup’.

I do always listen to whoever is sitting in my makeup chair and will assess, advise and make look lovely. Like a good hairdresser, if there’s something I think won’t work I will come to you with an alternative. Solutions!

I also know that many of us have days when we want a full on flawless look, some days something simple but beautiful and other days a timeless look that flatters YOU and isn’t a carbon copy.

I have full on face painting wannabe Pat McGrath moment’s…

Days when I’m stunned by the artistry of someone like Miss Fame…

But most days on most women I like makeup that’s simple and beautiful that allows people to see you the person first and the makeup as an enhancement.
